Builder/Founder/Engineer

Turning Ideas into Intelligent Systems.

I build at the intersection of AI, hardware, and real-world systems, from smart glasses and face-authenticated payments to new ways of bringing intelligence into the physical world.

Thesis

Intelligence is moving beyond screens.

The most interesting computing systems of the next decade may not live inside another app or browser tab. I'm interested in systems that can perceive context, understand the physical world, and make technology feel less like an interface.

01

AI × Physical World

The capabilities of AI become much more interesting when software can perceive and interact with real environments.

02

Interfaces should disappear

The best technology often removes steps instead of adding another screen.

03

Hardware changes the possibility space

Some problems become possible only when software, sensors and computation are designed together.

04

Build to discover

I'd rather test an idea with a working system than spend months debating whether it should work.

Curiosity

Problems I keep coming back to.

01

Human-computer interaction

How can computers understand context without constantly demanding our attention?

02

Intelligence in the physical world

What happens when AI moves beyond browsers and screens?

03

Identity without friction

Can authentication become invisible without sacrificing privacy or security?

04

New computing interfaces

What comes after the smartphone-centric model of computing?

Method

How I build.

Problem→Hypothesis→Prototype→Users→Learn→Iterate
Step 01

Problem

Find something people actually struggle with.

Step 02

Hypothesis

Develop a strong opinion about how it could work differently.

Step 03

Prototype

Build the smallest system capable of testing that opinion.

Step 04

Users

Put it in front of real people quickly.

Step 05

Learn

Understand what was wrong.

Step 06

Iterate

Improve, reposition, or stop.

“I care more about discovering whether something should exist than proving that my first idea was correct.”
Honesty

Things that didn't work.

Building has changed my mind about a lot of things.

01

Building before distribution

Lesson

A technically strong product doesn't automatically create demand. Distribution has to be designed as seriously as the product.

02

Institutional adoption

Lesson

Better technology doesn't remove trust, procurement and deployment friction.

03

Building too broadly

Lesson

A product usually needs one obvious reason to exist before it needs ten features.

04

Projects that stopped

Lesson

Stopping something can be the correct outcome of an experiment.

Trajectory

Still early.

A timeline of things I've tried, built and learned.

2023

Started seriously building software and experimenting with products.

2024

Worked on products and startup experiments.

Range

I can build the thing.

Across product, AI, systems and infrastructure, enough to take an idea from concept to a working system.

Thinking about

  • AI × hardware
  • Human-computer interaction
  • New computing interfaces
  • Distribution
  • Education
  • Identity

Looking to meet

  • Exceptional founders
  • Technical builders
  • Researchers
  • Startup operators
  • Investors who enjoy talking with builders early

Also open to unusually high-agency roles where I can build close to founders, own large technical problems, and move quickly.
